Job Description A staff nurse is a registered nurse who is responsible for the direct and indirect care of the patients assigned during a given period of time.

Works closely with all members of the professional team, medical staff, patients and their families.
Qualifications Valid licensure by the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation or license pending Current BLS certification required ACLS and PALS course completion or willing to complete within 6 months of hire Ability to lift 75 pounds, good communication skills and ability to work with computerized charting Job Type:
