Packaging Operators work closely with the Packaging Supervisor and Plant Operations Manager to ensure that seed packages are labeled legibly and accurately according to customer instructions.
Other essential job functions may include but not limited to:
Performing work activities safely Application of appropriate tags and/or labels to seed packages as applicable Accurate bagged seed inventory counts Lifting and stacking materials up to 68 lbs.
for extended periods of time.
Lifting and stacking material at or above shoulder height for extended periods of time.
Standing to fill and close packaged product for extended periods of time Successfully pass the forklift training and receive an operators certificate Safely climb stairs and/or ladders to monitor and adjust equipment Thorough cleaning of all equipment in order to maintain product integrity Assist with implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area Requirements:
Agricultural background and experience are preferred but not required Computer skills - spreadsheets, email, etc.
Excellent communications skills with positive attitude Attention to detail and accuracy Cooperative and willing to assist others Successfully pass the forklift training and receive an operators certificate Monitors and maximizes daily bag output Assist with implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area Job Type:
Full-time Packaging Operators work closely with the Packaging Supervisor and Plant Operations Manager to ensure that seed packages are labeled legibly and accurately according to customer instructions.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
