Most of our residents are elderly.
We file insurance claims on behalf of our residents and we work with them and their families on the process.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate and naturally helpful, willing to work on a problem to its successful conclusion.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility will make this transition much easier.
The responsibilities and duties include:
Submit reimbursement requests to Medicare and Medicaid Process insurance claims Enter charges accurately and expeditiously to ensure proper records handling Process and follow up on payer denials, consulting with residents and/or families Post payments in a timely manner Research and resolve resident billing problems or issues Assist residents and their families with applying for Medicaid Document payment records and issues as they occur Ability to keep confidential matters Managed Care Medicaid, enroll, prior Authorization, billing, appeals Hillcrest Home offers the best benefits for employees, as a County owned facility.
